At Home Farm Herbery we only plant Heirloom Organic seeds and we save these seeds each year. Often we have some extra and when that happens we are pleased to offer them to other health conscious gardeners and again this year we have a limited quantity to sell.
Lettuce, SSE Lettuce Mixture AKA (Latuca sativa) is one of our favorite lettuce mixes and we sell what we do use here or let bolt to seed to sell at our local farmers market.
This is a well-balanced mixture of cutting lettuces: Australian Yellowleaf, Forellenschluss, Pablo, Red Velvet and at least four more of our favorite varieties. Enjoy a flavorful and colorful bouquet of lettuces in about 40-45 days of sowing.
Sow continuously for a constant supply of lettuce. This, like most lettuce is best grown in cooler weather and we recommend planting it in full sun or partial shade.
